From Ronnie's family we thank all of his friends and fellow soliders for the kindness and help extended to us. There is a common thread from all that knew him, a kind and gentle man. Just talking with him for a few minutes made you come away with a new goodness in your heart. I told him "brother you don't need a weapon, you could talk the enemy in to a cup of coffee and would make friends in no time" He would just shake his head and smile. For those that have not had recent contact I believe that the last few months of his life with Brenda Barton were his very best. You could hear a smile in his voice and a contentment with life. Brenda I thank you for putting it there.
To you all he would say live on, work hard and laugh every day.

Ronnie was a kind and gentle man and I am proud to call him my friend. His life was cut short but we will never forget him. He was very generous and was always willing to help whenever he was needed. We miss you Ronnie and you will always be in our hearts.

He was a good friend, soldier and most of all a kind and compassionate man. He loved his country and served more then twenty years defending it. I was privileged to have known him and honored to be his friend. I will miss our talks and most of all I will miss him.

Ron was a caring and generous man. He was someone I saw everyday, and I was a guest at the Bay Inn at the time he was killed. My heart goes out to Brenda and to his family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My husband and I have known Papa Noles for over 15 years. We were stationed with him at Ft. Story as well as Panama. He was a good, kind, loving man. He will be missed by all. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and many friends.
