Marion Sherman Obituary

Marion Sherman POTOMAC, Md. - On Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009, Marion Sherman of Potomac, Md., passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late Ernest Sherman; loving mother of Deborah (Alan) Grant, Alan (Claire Ann) Sherman and Ruth (Irwin) Kroskin; cherished grandmother of Dr. Leslie (Dr. Moses) Albert, Marlene (Marc) Eden, Gail (Louis) Silverman, Dr. Gary (Christina) Sherman, Suzanne (Stephen) Mazer, Stephanie (Gary) Block and Philip (Julie) Kroskin; and dear great-grandmother of Michelle, Lauren, Katherine, Danielle, Brandon, Zachary, Carly, Hannah, Jenna, Kayla, Abigail, Joseph, Matthew, Allie, Eli and Nicole. A funeral will be held Sunday, Aug. 23, at 10:15 a.m. in B'nai Israel Congregation, 6301 Montrose Road, Rockville, Md. Interment following at B'nai Israel Cemetery, Oxon Hill, Md. Shiva will be observed at the home of Ruthi and Irwin Kroskin on Monday and Tuesday at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Beth El Library Fund. Arrangements entrusted to Torchinsky Hebrew Funeral Home, Washington, D.C., 1-800-500-5401.
