Thelma Morgan Francis BOYKINS - Thelma Morgan "Bootsie" Francis, 69, passed away Sept. 4, 2009, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She was a native of Crewe, Va., and was a daughter of the late Nubel and Lucille Morgan. She retired from Southampton Correctional Center. Left to cherish her memory her husband of 37 years, Berkley M. Francis; her son, Brian M. Francis and his wife Heather; and her beloved grandson, Tyler M. Francis. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Rev. Chad Brady. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to any favorite charity. www.wrightfuneralhome.org.
