Carolyn Privott Obituary

Carolyn Ann Privott NORFOLK - Carolyn Ann Privott, 60, passed away Sept. 7, 2009. She was born June 20, 1949 to the late Bernice and Andrew Privott Sr. in Norfolk. She was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School and a member of Breaking of Day Ministries. Carolyn retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a supply manager after 39 years of service. She was predeceased by a sister, Antoinette Baker and a brother, Andrew Privott Jr. She is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Michelle King (Ricky Sr.); five sisters, Thelma Holley, Gracie White, Bernice Barnes, Annie Mae Ryland and Sarah Pyatt (Charles); one brother, Anthony Privott; two grandchildren, Ricky E. King II and Jeremy E. King; and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held at noon Saturday in the chapel of Metropolitan Funeral Service, 7246 Granby St. Pastor Edward L. Sivells will officiate. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk. Condolences may be offered at www.metropolitanfuneralservice.com.
