Dear Norene,
All of the members of the Blue Heron Chapter, Sumi-e Society were deeply saddened to learn of your mother's death. She was a wonderful addition to our meetings and always friendly and interesting. We know that the next few months will be very difficult in grieving for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, and please don't hesitate to call if you need anything. A Haiku by Hsueh Tao, China, 768,831 describes your mom:

Dear Norene, Lou & I heard this morning that your mother had died - we were shocked and saddened! Although we didn't see each other often your mother was always very pleasant and friendly when we spoke and I was quite fond of her.
Please accept our sincere sympathy.
I would like to offer sympathy also from all the women at the Larkspur Garden Club who remember Evelyn well.
We send our love and prayers for God's comfort for you and your family.

Norene, Craig, Tere and Shaun, we are grieving with you. Evelyn was such a part of our lives from before I was born, and visits to you and from you all were always special. How can I forget the twin dresses Mama made for Penny and Norene? Our photo albums are full of Spencer photos, we remember phone calls from your Mom and emails from Norene keeping us updated on your lives once distance kept visits to a minimum. I will miss hearing your Mom's voice on the phone--I can see her in my mind's eye right now. She will be sorely missed by the Schillers and Thorpes. With love, Dooney
