Jeanette Hudson Obituary

Jeanette Eva Hudson NORFOLK - Jeanette Eva Hudson passed away Wednesday morning, Sept. 9, 2009, surrounded by her adoring family. She was an incredible wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Jeannette will pass on her passion for life and a wonderful sense of humor. She had a special presence about her which drew people into her life and once there, they were there for life. Though her recent battle with illness, she still had enough energy to make you laugh. Jeanette will be truly missed by her family and anyone whose life she touched. She leaves behind her best friend and husband, Wayne Hilton Hudson; three adoring daughters, Lisa Whitley and her husband Gregson, Penny Soady and her husband Scott and Johneen Papson and her husband Mike. Jeanette made it a point to let each grandchild know how special they were to her. She had seven grandchildren, Joseph Hudson and his wife Nicole, Brandi Mckown, Tiffany Whitley, Michael McManus, Chase Whitley, Madison McKown and Andrew Papson; and two great-grandchildren, Brandon and Van Hudson. All services will be private. Altmeyer Funeral Home, Southside Chapel, is handling the arrangements. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.altmeyer.com.
