Neal Waite Obituary

Neal Waite CHESAPEAKE - Neal Waite, 63, of the 1000 block of Sharon Drive, passed away Sept. 15, 2009, in Chesapeake. A native of Lowell, Mass., he was the son of the late Howard L. and Rita Beauchesne Waite. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, he worked as a service technician with Williams Scotsman Inc. He was an avid fisherman and a member of Harvest Assembly of God, Chesapeake. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Karen A. Waite; three daughters, Beth A. Manning and her husband Michael of Collinsville, Va., Dawn S. Schmit and her husband Brian of Gladbak, Germany, and Stacy Troiani of Nashua, N.H.; a son, Shane Sullivan and his wife Christy of Wasilla, Alaska; a stepson, Terrence Corbett and his wife Jamie of Chesapeake; two nieces, Kristen Heyl and Samantha McNamara; a nephew, Jason Waite, all of Lowell, Mass.; and 20 grandchildren. A funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Harvest Assembly of God, 525 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake, with the Rev. Harold W. Moore officiating. A graveside service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milners Road, Suffolk. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. in Graham Funeral Home, Greenbrier Chapel. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the A.L.S. Association, 21021 Ventura Blvd., Suite 321, Woodland Hills, CA 91364 or to Harvest Assembly of God. Please share a memory with the family at grahamfuneralhome.com.
