HEAVEN'S DOOR
The glorious light has met me, the doors of heaven appear.
Angels Praising God, lends evidence that I am near.
One more step awaits me before I see the glorious One.
Freedom from all earthly sins, my life has just begun.
Mansions nursed within golden streets, peace within the air.
Falling to my knees, hands clasped as I go to prayer.
The golden book is open where I see my name engraved,
Jesus put His life before me, I know that I am saved.
He took my sins upon Himself, He paid the price for me.
So that I will have eternal life, now I will live life free.
No more pain awaits me, no more sorrow in sight.
I finally get to thank Him as I kneel before Him tonight.
Ask Jesus to come into your heart, wash away your sins.
Faith and love for our Almighty God is where it all begins.
He holds a place beside me, for us to meet once more.
I will wait for all of you, when you walk through Heaven's door.
