Kenny Painter Obituary

Kenny L. Painter PORTSMOUTH - Kenny "Kenny Crab" Lamont Painter, 18, formerly of St. Mary's Infant Home/Holiday House, passed away Sept. 15, 2009. He was born May 17, 1991, in Norfolk, and was a student at Princess Anne High School, Virginia Beach. He is survived by his parents, Beverly M. and Ronald L. Combs; his biological father, Kenneth D. Reid; four sisters, Jaydah and Jahveesha Combs, Jermeka Britton and Tiaria Cuffee; one brother, Kenny Steward; grandparents, Leona C. Thorne, Leroy and Arlene Thorne; a special cousin, Angela H. Lassiter; and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Metropolitan Funeral Service, 120 W. Berkley Ave. Bishop John S. Harrell will officiate. Interment will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at 1405 Talisman Circle one hour prior to the service for the procession to the chapel. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered at www.metropolitanfuneralservice.com.
