Maynard Levister Obituary

Maynard K. Levister HAMPTON - Maynard King Levister, 94, died Sept. 18, 2009. Born in Virgilina, Mr. Levister was a longtime Hampton Roads resident. He retired from the Ford Motor Co. Norfolk assembly plant after 35 years of service. Mr. Levister joined the Masons in 1954 at the Norview Masonic Lodge No. 110, later transferring his membership to the Indian River Lodge No. 252 where he later served as Master. Mr. Levister is survived by his son, James J. Levister and wife Helen; grandsons, Matthew Levister and Bradford Levister; and great-grandchildren, Ashley Levister and Nathan Levister. A memorial service with Masonic rites will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Ave., downtown Hampton.

Matt and family,
