James Ferguson Obituary

James E. Ferguson CHESAPEAKE - James E. Ferguson, 74, departed this life Sept. 18, 2009, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. He was born April 24, 1935 to the late Ida and Howard Ferguson. He is survived by his three sons, Kevin, Michael and Larry (Wanda) Ferguson; three daughters, Sheryl, Gloria and Christin Ferguson; two sisters, Elsie Cham and Loveline Faggins (Russell); one aunt, Nell Clark; one uncle, Thomas Ferguson (Mary); 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a special niece, Juanita H. Beasley; and a host of other relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chapel of Peace Mausoleum, 1101 Campostella Road, Chesapeake. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Metropolitan Funeral Service, Berkley Ave. Chapel. Condolences may be offered at www.metropolitanfuneralservice.com.
