Elaine White Obituary

Elaine Faulk White SUFFOLK - Elaine Faulk White, a native of Nansemond County, peacefully slipped away to her heavenly home from her residence, the 2200 block of Whaleyville Blvd., Suffolk, on Sept. 17, 2009. She was the daughter of the late James T. Folk and Cathene Folk Rodgers Faulk Milteer. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Ernestine Washington of Philadelphia and Betty Brooks of Suffolk; two sons, Roosevelt White Jr. (Denise) of Philadelphia and Ronald White of Scranton, Pa.; five sisters, Odelia Hortillosa, Louvenia White, Selena Copeland (Clifton), Elsie Milteer and Mary Dash, all of Suffolk; one brother, Earl Faulk (Thelma) of Suffolk; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one stepsister, two stepbrothers, four sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The White and Faulk families would like to give thanks to Sentara Obici Hospital, Nansemond Pointe Rehabilitation & HealthCare Center, Medi Home Health and Hospice for the care that was given to our mother and sister. We also would like to give a special thanks to Ms. Shirlene Brock for her kindness and care of our loved one. Her homegoing celebration will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25, in Mount Mararat Christian Church, 1860 Airport Road, officiated by Pastor H. Harvey Murrill. Interment will be in the Faulk Family Cemetery, Jackson Road, Suffolk. The family will receive friends at Crocker Funeral Home Thursday, Sept. 24, from 7 to 8 p.m. Condolences may be extended to the family at www.crockerfuneralhome.com.
