Frederick Griffin Obituary

Frederick H. Griffin EDENTON - Frederick Hinton Griffin, 82, of the 1500 block of W. Queen St., died Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009 in Chowan Hospital. Mr. Griffin was the son of the late Sarah Nora Lane and Asa Bryant Griffin and was the husband of the late Katie Lois Emminizer Griffin. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Survivors include his two sons, Scott Griffin and Mike Griffin, both of Edenton. A celebration of Mr. Griffin's life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Beaver Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Young officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friends may send online condolences by visiting www.evansfac.com. Evans Funerals and Cremations of Edenton is serving the Griffin family.
