I am sadden to hear this news and my thoughts/prayers are with Mary and the family.
I worked with Joe at the Pungo M/C and was his secretary from 1980-88. He was a very special person to me and always treated me as family and I thought the world of him.
Joe and I continued to work together when we transfered underPublic Works until his retirement.
He will be dearly missed and I'm thankful to have had the opportunity to know him.
God bless and know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
