It is sad to think that Karen is not there any more to discuss the children and grandchildren. She did love them all. She gave love freely and did not deny any. Peace be with you.

Heather,
Though we only spoke briefly on the phone a few nights ago, I feel as if I've known you for some extended period of time.
I told You that I had met Karen after coming to Virginia to care for my mother. Well, they are now together in a much better place. I will always remember your mother as being kind and thoughtful towards mine. Please feel free to call and converse if, and when, the need should arise. May God bless you with peace and comfort through and during these difficult times. Compassionately yours, Wil. 757-575-0478.

My sister. I will always love her and think of the times we shared.
We laughed at most things and got each other through all of the hard times.
I do know this...she wanted nothing more than to be with our parents and her youngest daughter Shannon. She is with them now in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior.
She is experiencing a love, joy and peace that we on earth can't even imagine.
I am going to miss her more than words can say BUT I will see her again when the Lord calls me home.

I offer up this simple prayer to Karen whom we will see again and also our thoughts and prayers for Kimberly, Heather and Beth.
Lord our God, the death of Karen recalls our human condition and the brevity of our lives on earth. But for those who believe in Your love, death is not the end, nor does it destroy the bonds that You forge in our lives. We share the faith of Your Son's disciples and the hope of the children of God. Bring the light of Christ's resurrection to this time of testing and pain as we pray for Karen and for those who love her, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Love, Tim & Joyce

Karen was a very special cousin, and she will always be remembered in our hearts. Regardless of what was happening in her life, she was always able to laugh and find the humor in any given situation, no matter how hopeless it might seem. Karen will be missed by many, but we know she is where she wants to be, and that is not a bad thing. Please know that the family is in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Nancy& Steve
