Kathleen Eddy Obituary

Kathleen M. Eddy NORFOLK - Kathleen M. Eddy, 57, died Sept. 23, 2009, in Norfolk. Born in Charleston, S.C., she spent her early years growing up with her sister in South Carolina, Florida and Virginia in a Navy family. She was predeceased by her parents, Grace B. and Robert B. Eddy. Survivors include her sister, Carolyn and husband Bill Sale; her nephew, Jerry B. Paez and wife Penny; her niece, Robin Paez; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A graduate of Norview High School, she later attended Tidewater Community College, then graduated from Norfolk State University with a bachelor's of fine arts. Kathy was a very talented artist who had exhibited locally several years ago. In recent years, she was a loving caregiver for her ailing father until he passed away. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

Dear Carolyn and Robin and Jerry,

I couldn't be more saddened than to read this today. I hadn't spoken to her in about 9 years. I already missed her, and now I'll miss her forever. I know she was a good daughter, a good sister and good aunt. I'm sure you all can hardly express the loss.

Kathy and I went to Norview High together and graduated in 1970.... She was a great and kind soul....a friend to all..My prayers are with her family....Dory Wade
