Evelyn Wilber Obituary

Evelyn I. Wilber CHESAPEAKE - Evelyn I. Wilber, 85, passed away Oct. 21, 2009. A native of New York, Mrs. Wilber was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by a grandson. Survivors include her husband, Rolland M. Wilber; four children, Darlene Hinkle of North Carolina, Ted Wilber of California, Michelle Carrier and Linda Ryan, both of Virginia; a sister, Marion Longyear of New York; and seven grandchildren. A celebration of Mrs. Wilber's life will be held Monday, Oct. 26, at 11 a.m. in Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. Friends may send tributes to www.mem.com.

I was crushed to hear that Evelyn had passed. She was such a sweet and dear soul. I always enjoyed my time spent with her. If there is anything I can do for the family, please let me know.

Our deepest condolences to the family, I've only meet Mrs. Wilber, once and found her to be a wonderful and kind lady.
She will surely be missed by her family and freinds.
