David George

David George Obituary

David J. George SUFFOLK - David Joseph George, 30, of the 3800 block of Pughesville Road, died Oct. 21, 2009. He was born in Arlington, Va., and was the son of Shanon Winfree George of Suffolk and the late Halford Vernon George Jr. David was a landscaper for Garden Escapes. He was an avid hiker and loved to work on cars. Besides his mother, David is survived by a brother, Jason George and wife Crystal; maternal grandmother, Mildred Winfree; a nephew, Jason George Jr.; an aunt, Kathy Winfree and husband Kenny; and an uncle, Keith Winfree. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, in Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.snellingsfuneralhome.com.
