Danny White VIRGINIA BEACH - Danny "Bo" White, 73, went home to be with his Lord Oct. 24, 2009. He was born in Wilmington, N.C., and retired from the U.S. Navy as a chief machinist after 21 years of service. He loved spending time with his shipmates from the USS Trigger and Bo loved spending time with his camping family. He was a member of London Bridge Baptist Church. Bo is survived by his wife, Joyce "Lil" White, and his daughter, Denise Brickey and husband Brett; son, Dan White; three sisters, Merle Harring, Shelby Hess, Helen Zepaltas and was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth and Betty and two brothers, Kenneth and Buck. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, Eric, Kevin, Emma, Morgan, and Carson and was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kristen. A funeral will be held Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 11 a.m. in London Bridge Baptist Church by the Rev. Tommy Taylor with burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens where U.S. Navy honors will be accorded at the graveside. The family will receive friends at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. Condolences may be made to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
