David Haber Obituary

David Haber VIRGINIA BEACH - David Haber, 46, passed away Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, after a long illness. David and wife Denise owned and operated the Mirror Gallery. He was born in Buffalo, N.Y. He was predeceased by his mother, Mathilde. David was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Virginia Beach. He was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks Lodge No. 2268. David was a Harley enthusiast. He is survived by his loving family including his wife of 15 years, Denise Haber; son, Daniel Haber, daughter, Amanda Haber, both of Virginia Beach; grandson, Luke Haber; stepfather, Gerald Noznisky; brother, Jackie Haber; and sister, Anita. A memorial service will be held Friday, Oct. 30, at 4 p.m. in Calvary Baptist Church, 4832 Haygood Road, Virginia Beach. Pastor Bubba Pugh will officiate. A reception will follow after the service at the church. Motorcycle enthusiasts are asked to gather at the family home at 3 p.m. to process to the church with the family and David. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions either be made to the family to be placed in trust for David's daughter Amanda or to Duke Cancer Patient Support Program. Arrangements are under the care of Altmeyer Funeral Home. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.altmeyer.com.

I know it's been a long time since we've been together, but married life, military and kids make people lose track of those we love and care for. I'm so sorry for your loss. Dear Denise, Daniel and baby girl....Amanda.

Santo and I will truly miss Dave...We will miss his laughter, his jokes his voice..His love for family and friends, he had a way about him, that would touch everyones soul..When dave walked into a room the entire room would just shine:) we were always happy to hear from dave because we knew he would make us laugh so hard and smile for days later...Denise you were the love of his life...and u made his world a perfect one...Santo and I lost a great friend..He will be Greatly missed:( Denise if you need anything please give Sa and I a call I know we live far...but not to far to help a friend..WE love you guys.our paryers are with you.
