Curtis Robinson

Curtis Vincent Robinson VIRGINIA BEACH - Curtis Vincent "Robbie" Robinson died Oct. 21, 2009. He was born May 21, 1919 in Brockton, Mass., and was the son of the late Wellington "Bill" and Rosalind "Rose" Robinson. Robbie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a member of The Church of the Advent and a longtime Cursillo member. Robbie and his late wife, Alice Louise Watson Robinson, were married 67 years. They had five children, Carol Robinson of Virginia Beach, Fred Robinson and his wife, Donna of Midlothian, Va., Nancy Loebsack and her husband Eric of E. Wenatchee, Wash., Linda Campbell and her husband Allen of Virginia Beach and Bill Robinson of Norfolk; eight grandchildren, David Robinson of Midlothian, Jill Loebsack of Kirkland, Wash., Emily Klein and her husband Chris of Midlothian, Levi Robinson of Norfolk, Alice Loebsack of Tacoma, Wash., Kate Loebsack of Orondo, Wash., Laura Campbell of Virginia Beach, John Campbell of Virginia Beach; one great-grandson, Jackson Frederick Klein of Midlothian and one great-grandchild on the way. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, at The Church of the Advent, 9629 Norfolk Ave., Norfolk. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Church of the Advent, 9629 Norfolk Ave., Norfolk, VA 23503 or the Alzheimer's Association, 6315 North Center Road, Norfolk, VA 23502.
