JoAnne Wedeman Obituary

JoAnne M. Wedeman VIRGINIA BEACH - JoAnne Mann Wedeman, 72, passed away Oct. 25, 2009. She was born in Norfolk Jan. 27, 1937 to the late Leroy Mann and Eva Hill. JoAnne was a member of the Moose Lodge and enjoyed playing bingo with her friends. Her husband, William W. Wedeman, preceded her in death. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Chris Wedeman; daughters, Susan Harris and husband Sydney, Melanie Wedeman and LeeAnne Emory; five granddaughters, Amy, Stephanie, Ashley, Meghan and Taylor; seven great-grandchildren; best friend, Joann Starks; and her daughter, Traci Ruiz. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, in Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home.
