Jack Brock Obituary

Jack Brock CHESAPEAKE - David Jack Brock, 88, passed away Nov. 1, 2009. Mr. Brock was a native of Portsmouth, a Methodist, and retired from Norfolk Naval Air Station as a metalsmith. Jack served his country in the Army during World War II. Mr. Brock was the widower of Dixie Brock. He is survived by two sons, Skip Brock and fiancée Janet of Chesapeake, Jeffrey L. Brock and wife Ann of Richmond; four grandchildren, Jamie Lynn Brock Marks and husband Sean, Christopher Sullivan and wife Chris, Matthew Allen Brock and Mckenzie L. Brock; five great-grandchildren, Dylan Sullivan, Anthony Sullivan, Kellyn Marks, Elizabeth Marks and Brock Marks. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, with entombment in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in the funeral home one hour prior to the service and they suggest memorial contributions to the American Heart Association.
