Margaret Wilkins Obituary

Margaret E. Wilkins CHESAPEAKE - Margaret E. Wilkins, 83, passed away Friday, Nov. 6, 2009 at her home. Born in Eure, N.C., Margaret was retired from General Foam and Plastic after 25 years, where she was a supervisor. She was a member of Broadmoor Church of Christ. Margaret was the widow of Herman V. Wilkins Jr. and is survived by two sons, Thomas H. Wilkins and John W. Wilkins, both of Chesapeake; a sister, Dorothy Pugh of Franklin, Va.; five grandchildren, Chris, Amanda and John Wilkins, Jessica Brunmeier and Angela Hutchenson; six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Frankie L. Wilkins. The family would like to thank the staff of Bon Secours Hospice for their care and support. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, with the Rev. Gragg Harkins officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
