Erinda Jones Obituary

Erinda L. Jones PORTSMOUTH - Erinda L. Jones, 54, of the 1600 block of Marciano St., departed this life Nov. 6, 2009, in Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center. She was born in Portsmouth and was the daughter of Gladys E. Stewart and Larry Robinson. Erinda was a residential counselor at Lucas Lodge until her illness. Erinda leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Shaunita Jones and son Rodregas Jones; two grandchildren, Tavion and Samaya Jones; sisters, Carolyn (Curtis) Nicholson of Chesapeake, Sharon (William) Banks, Rosalyn Mills, Rhonda Stewart of Portsmouth, Linda Stewart Potts and Pamela (Shawn) Sheppard of Virginia Beach, Deborah Robinson of Atlanta and Joyce Robinson of Cincinnati; brothers, Anthony, Michael and Emmell Stewart of Portsmouth, Reginald Stewart of Detroit, Keith and Keenan Robinson and Shawn Donnell of Atlanta, and Larry Robinson of Cincinnati. A homegoing celebration will be Thursday, Nov. 12, at 11 a.m. in Trinity Baptist Church, 1023 Deep Creek Blvd., Chesapeake, with Dr. O.L. Cromwell II. Interment will be in Roosevelt Memorial Cemetery. Corprew Funeral Home is handling arrangements. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today, Nov. 11, at Corprew Funeral Home.

I met Erinda through my sister Toniya Whitney (Jones) and I must say, Erinda was a very sweet person and her children are well respected young individuals. To God Be the Glory for the great things he have done. I pray your family strength in this time of bereavement.
