Bernard Foreman

Bernard G. Foreman VIRGINIA BEACH - Bernard Gilmore Foreman, 69, passed away Nov. 7, 2009. He was a retired electricians mate chief, U.S. Navy, and also retired from NORSHIPCO as electrical shop foreman. He was a proud member of the Motley Hunt Group Ltd., Craig Springs, Va. Bernie is survived by his wife, Joyce Foreman; three daughters, Loralie Newton, Kelly Wilson and Rebecca Null; three sons, Daniel Stillwagon, Robert Foreman and William Foreman; two sisters, Arlene Thompson and Darlene Black; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Nicolas Wilson. Bernie was a joy to all who knew him, well loved and is now at rest with Jesus. A service will be held at Little Creek Amphibious Base Chapel Friday at 2 p.m. A reception for family and friends will follow the service at 5533 Odessa Drive, Virginia Beach. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, is handling arrangements.
