Annie Roth Olah CHESAPEAKE - Annie Roth Olah, 89, of the 1100 block of Johnstown Road, Chesapeake, went to meet her Lord and Savior Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009. She was a woman of great faith who gave unlimited love and willingly sacrificed for her family. Born Dec. 24, 1919, in Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Katherine Roth. She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, George Olah; a daughter, Theresa O. Lane; two grandsons, John C. Olah and Stanley Martin Olah Jr.; a great-grandson, Christopher J. Olah Jr.; her identical twin, Julia Galo; a sister, Helen Pearce; brothers, Andrew Roth, Rudolph Roth, Stephen Roth, John Roth, Joseph Roth and Anthony Roth. Survivors include seven sons, George T. Olah and wife Mary Lou of Ontario, Canada, Charles J. Olah and wife Joyce, Michael W. Olah and wife Kathy, Timothy D. Olah and wife Julie of Chesapeake, Frank D. Olah and wife Susan of Rustburg, Va., Stanley M. Olah and wife Emmy of Shipman, Va., and Philip F. Olah of Virginia Beach; four daughters, Judy O. Hendrix and husband Jim of Concord, N.C., Gloria O. Cooley and husband Dennis, Nancy O. Mantooth and husband Harold, and Mary O. Davenport and husband Frank, all of Chesapeake; a son-in-law, Donald E. Lane of Chesapeake; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Vincek and husband Eddie of Chesapeake; two special people who were like her children, Will Rogers and wife Sheila of Leigh High Acres, Fla., who is also a twin and shared the same birthday as Mrs. Olah and Susie Olah of Virginia Beach. She is also survived by her friend and special caregiver, Virginia Duncan of Virginia Beach. Mrs. Olah's children cannot thank her enough for her love and tender care given to both of their parents these past six years. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at Unity Free Will Baptist Church, 360 E. Hickory Road, Chesapeake. The Rev. Earl Sutton will officiate. The interment will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, 653 Cedar Road, Chesapeake.
