Rosemary Crouch Obituary

Rosemary B. Crouch CHESAPEAKE - Rosemary Ballard Crouch, 86, of the 4100 block of Dock Landing Road, passed away Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009 in her residence. Born Feb. 16, 1923 in Athens, W.Va., Rosemary was a member of Alexander Baptist Church and retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard after many years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph N. Crouch. She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl A. Crouch Lungren; two sons, Niles M. Crouch and wife Margaret and Patrick L. Crouch and wife Deborah; three grandchildren, Kimberly M. Crouch, Elliott N. Crouch and Ariel L. Crouch; and two great-grandchildren, Anne and Parker. A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Gene Primm. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. www.SturtevantFuneralHome.com.

I met Mrs. Crouch last year in january when I became her home health aide and the time that Ive taken care of her she became family to me and Ive really enjoyed caring for her, she will be missed.It has been a pleasure taking care of Mrs. Crouch, My deepest sympathy does out to Ms. Cheryl and the rest of the Crouch family....she is gone but never forgotten....R.I.P Mrs. Rosemary Crouch
