Hannah R. Dorf NORFOLK - Hannah R. Dorf, daughter of the late Israel and Helen Rosenbaum, died Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009. A lifelong resident of Norfolk, she was born March 22, 1922, and graduated from Maury High School in June 1940. She married Dr. Sidney M. Dorf on June 18, 1950. Hannah was a member of Temple Israel and a life member of both Hadassah and the Beth Sholom Home Auxiliary. She was a past president of the Golda Meir Chapter of Hadassah. Hannah is survived by her husband, Dr. Sidney M. Dorf their daughters, Cheryl Dorf and Carolyn Nachman; son-in- law, Mark; and also granddaughter, Ricki Nachman. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 16, at Forest Lawn Cemetery by Rabbi Michael E. Panitz. The family will receive friends following the graveside service at the home of Carolyn and Mark Nachman. The family requests that contributions be made to a charity of choice. H.D.
