Beverly Walton Obituary

William M. Walton SUFFOLK - William McCurdy Walton, 77, of the 1000 block of Centerbrooke Lane, went to be with the Lord Friday, Nov. 13, 2009. He was born March 17, 1932, and grew up in the Ardmore, Pa., area. William was a heating and A/C service man by trade, but also worked with the learning disabled in the Vermont School System. He was always active in his community, giving of his time to assist the elderly. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Wendy Shanton; three brothers; and a grandchild. He is survived by his loving wife of more than 17 years, Beverly J. Walton; five sons, Wayne W. Walton and wife Peggy, Mark S. Walton and wife Missy, Paul D. Walton and wife Debbie, Scott D. Walton and wife Jayne and Arvid Daniels Jr. and wife Susan; two daughters, Lynn Daniels and Terri Daniels and husband John; two sisters, Edna Redfern and Ellen Taylor; 17 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Bennetts Creek Chapel, by the Rev. Wayne W. Walton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
