Clarence Faulks Obituary

Clarence C. Faulks SUFFOLK - Clarence C. Faulks, 87, of the 4800 block of Sleepy Hole Road, died Nov. 12, 2009, in Bon Secours Maryview Hospital, Portsmouth. He was a native of Portsmouth. He was the son of the late Charlie C. Faulks and Minne Johnson Faulks. He was the proprietor of a store. He was predeceased by two brothers, Morris Faulks and James Faulks. He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Teresa L. Moore (Christopher), Portsmouth, and Pauline Terry, Trenton, N.J.; one son, the Rev. Keith Mayfield (Sandra), Suffolk; three sisters, Sarah Petree (Milton), Florida, Minnie Brown, and Joan Brown, Buffalo, N.Y.; one brother, Melvin Brown, Buffalo; 15 grandchildren, 12 great- grandchildren, four nieces, two nephews; a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. The family will convene at the home of the Rev. Keith Mayfield, 4869 Sleepy Hole Road, Suffolk.

I knew Clarence from several years ago when I was working at Belo's on caroline rd. He was a very nice person then and I'm sure he has never changed. I know he will be missed. MY thoughts and prayers are with you during your time of grief. May your memories bring u comfort.
