Roderick Trueblood Obituary

Roderick Trueblood VIRGINIA BEACH - Roderick Wayne Trueblood, 61, died peacefully in his sleep Friday, Nov. 20, 2009. He was born in Norfolk to the late Roderick S. Trueblood and Mary C. Trueblood. Mr. Trueblood retired from the City of Virginia Beach with 25 years of service. He is survived by his son, Matthew Scott Trueblood of Richmond; a brother, Joseph Trueblood of Virginia Beach; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, good friends and good neighbors whom he loved and loved him. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, where the family will receive friends one hour prior. Burial will be private. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com. May God take you in his arms forever.

I went to school with Ricky at Bayside High School the first year it opened. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He will be with his beloved mother now. My best to the family.
