Patricia Maitland Obituary

Patricia Ann Maitland BAY CITY, Texas - Patricia Ann Maitland, 71, passed away Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009 in Houston, Texas. Lovingly known as the "Tweety Bird Lady", she was born June 24, 1938 in Hagerstown, Md., to Pasco Ervin Bradsher and Helen L. McCanless Bradsher. She was a resident of Bay City for the past six years, a member of the First Baptist Church of Bay City and was a member of the Moose Lodge in Virginia. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Deborah and George Schneider of Blessing, Texas, Crystal and Jeff Farrell of Bay City and Marlease and Bob Bucher of Chesapeake; by her sons, Russell Thompson and wife Diane of Hillsborough, N.C., Tomas Littlefield and wife Darlene of Portsmouth and Michael Carreca of Alabama; and by 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Davidson H. Maitland and her parents, Pasco Ervin and Helen L. Bradsher. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, at Parkland Memorial Park, 2551 N. Armistead Ave., Hampton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Patricia A. Maitland to the American Lung Cancer Society. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.taylorbros.net. Arrangements were with Taylor Bros. Funeral Home, Bay City, TX (979) 245-4613.
