Dora Mae Hurdle

Dora Mae Hurdle NORFOLK - Dora Mae Hurdle, 82, of the 400 block of Kingsley Lane, died Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, in Norfolk Health Care Center. She was predeceased by her father, William Spence Kelly Hurdle and mother, Mary Eliza Burke Hurdle. She is survived by three sisters, Iris Taggert (James) of Norfolk, Willie Smith and Ruth Hurdle, both of Brooklyn, N.Y. A funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Riddick Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Belvidere, N.C., the Rev. Millie Jordan, pastor, and the Rev. Keith Lane, eulogist. Burial will be in Riddick Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Belvidere. Viewing will be from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday in the church. Stallings Memorial Chapel, Hertford, is in charge.
