Ann Archer Obituary

Ann Gail Archer VIRGINIA BEACH - Ann Gail Robertson Archer of the 100 block of 45th St. died Nov. 28, 2009, at her home. She was born in Portsmouth April 30, 1942, the daughter of the late Elmer L. Robertson and the late Frances Louise Kee Robertson. Ann graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and grew up in West Park View, Portsmouth. She attended Longwood College and graduated from Old Dominion University. Ann was a member of the Virginia Society of CPAs and for several years owned Archer and Associates, a CPA firm in Chesapeake. In addition to her parents, Ann was predeceased by a son, Fred Odell Archer Jr. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Fred Odell Archer; two daughters, Pamela D. Archer and partner Chad Ray and Beth A. Farrington and husband Rick. Ann is also survived by five grandchildren, Stephen Britt Miller, Margaret Ryan Miller, Alison L. Farrington, Richard A. Farrington III, Holly A. Farrington; and a brother, Alfred L. Robertson and his wife Sharon. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today, Dec. 1, at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road Chapel, by the Rev. Tom Potter. The family will receive family and friends at 10 a.m. at H.D. Oliver. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Ronald McDonald House. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.hdoliver. com.

Fred, You may not know me personaly but I'm very sorry of your lost of Ann, she was 10 yrs. younger than I, grow up living across the st.on spratley.
