When I read of De's passing, my heart broke for all of you. I am sorry I was out of town and could not be at her service.She was like a big sister to me and I have so many fun memories of our times growing up together. God bless you all.

As I cherish the memories of De and me over the past 32 years, I keep thinking about her most cherished gifts, Tiffany and Hayley. I held you both when you were babies and remember how happy your Mom was then. Knowing I could not bare children, she always shared her love for you and let me in to her family to be a part of your lives in so many special ways. Of course, we shared and experienced so many things over the years, and I can honestly say that De will always be the only "true friend" I'll ever have. Lloyd and I will always be here for you both.

My Dear Friend, You will be missed so much. I have always thought of you as not only my best friend, but also a second mother. We have laughed and cried together over the years, whether it was a great milestone in our lives to something silly we shared it all. I will have a glass of red wine in your honor. Dearest Pat, I am so sorry to learn of the passing of your beautiful sister, DeLane. I thank you for being there for me during the loss of my beloved husband, Tony. I found great comfort in your kindness during that time. I am here for you if there is anything at all I can do. You and your family now have a beautiful Angel watching over you. I pray that each of you, in her absence, will find comfort in knowing of the promise of being reunited. This life is fleeting and Heaven is our true home.
