I will always think of Miss Betty with her beautiful smile, loving ways and wonderful sense of humor. She brought joy everywhere she went. I know we all share beautiful childhood memories of her as we grew up on Easy St. I have missed her and Kathy since Katrina. Just knowing she was there always made Arabi still seem like home. She was my Mom's best friend and I hope they have a happy reunion in Heaven. I love her dearly.

Your mother was a wonderful person. So special you thought she would be around forver. But we all know it don't work like that!!!
She did manage to share her love with all her friends on Easy Street.

All the memories of you Ms Betty I will always hold close to my heart. All the laughs and all the cries we had before and after Katrina. You were like a 2nd mom to me and I could share everything with you because you were such a beautiful and caring person. We had some great times on Easy St, 52 kids on that little street unbelievable that all got along. I am so glad we kept in touch after Katrina and I will miss you so much. You are an angel and I know you will still be looking out for us. We love you!

I could fill up this guest book with my memories of our beloved "Miss" Betty. The sleepovers where she insisted on leaving the drapes open on the big picture window so she could later 'float' by and scare us; the baseball games in the middle of Easy Street; her fabulous cooking; impromptu trips to get beignets. Richard & I still laugh about the time she and Lovie opened the card to flowers he had sent me and it was written in French...she called her mom to interpret it before I even got home from work!!!! Oh, the memories...we are so blessed to have them and to have shared such history living on Easy Street...did we know back then how Easy it really was? I thank God for what we shared and for the promise He gives us of eternal life!! My thoughts and prayers are with you. I thank God for what we shared and for the promise He gives us of eternal life!!

Dear Donna, Kathy, Petey and Denny,
Barbara Baham contacted me last night and told about the death of your mother. I am shocked and saddened as I am sure you are. I called Lisa and Darren to tell them the news and both of them shared with me the same thought, first sadness, then the statement "if anyone deserves to be in heaven, it's Miss Betty."
I feel so privileged to have been her neighbor and to get to know her and all of you so well. She was a magnificent woman with skills I could only dream about. I will keep her and all of you in my prayers as you go through this trying time, but rest assured, she is already sprucing up and re-decorating heaven, cause that is just who she is!

Dear Kathy and Trocchiano family,
I'm so sorry about the loss of your mom. Please know that I share your grief and offer my deepest sympathy for you and your family.
Chris and I have some wonderful memories of your mom and feel that we shared a part of our lives with your family. There's sadness in our hearts and you are in our prayers. I'll always be grateful to her for the novenas she said for Chris and myself. So many prayers were answered because of her prayers.
Your Mom will always be remembered as a sweet, kind lady who was filled with love for others. She was special.
If you need us just call.
Love, Charlotte and Chris Barrios
