Virginia Gibson Obituary

Virginia D. Gibson MITCHELLVILLE, Md. - On Nov. 27, 2009, Virginia Daughtrey Gibson, formerly of Woodlawn, beloved wife of the late John Creswell Gibson, loving mother of Laurie M. Gibson, devoted sister of Sally Lee Daughtrey, passed away. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Hurley Daughtrey and Inez Robertson Daughtrey. Relatives and friends may call at the Sterling-Ashton- Schwab-Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville Inc., 1630 Edmondson Ave., Saturday, Dec. 5, from noon to 1 p.m. where a funeral will be held at 1 p.m. followed by interment in Lakeview Memorial Park. In addition to flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Valley Presbyterian Church, 2200 West Joppa Road, Lutherville, MD 21093.

Laurie,
Sympathy to you and your family on your mother's passing. YOu wrote to me awhile back on classmates- had you as a student and also at MYF in Woodlawn. I am living at Carrroll Luterhan Village in Westminster and presently confined to a wheelchair with a broken foot so cannot come to the funeral home. Please take care.
