John W. Calvert Sr. NORFOLK - On Nov. 29, 2009, John W. Calvert Sr., 82, of the 800 block of 37th St., went to be with the Lord. He is survived by his wife and seven children. His viewing will be Friday, Dec. 4, at Carlos A. Howard Funeral Homes from 4 to 8 p.m. A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at Friendship Baptist Church, Norfolk. The family will assemble at 9 a.m. at the residence for the procession. www.carlosahowardfuneralhomes.com.
