Billy Brunn

Billy H. Brunn VIRGINIA BEACH - Billy Houston Brunn, 93, passed away Nov. 28, 2009. Mr. Brunn served in the U.S. Marines during World War II, was a veteran of Guadalcanal, Tarawa, Saipan, and Tinian, and was a member of the 2nd Marine Division Association. He retired from Mobil Oil Company as a senior tax agent. He lived most of his life in Los Angeles until 2000, when he moved to live near his son's family in Virginia Beach. He was predeceased by his wife, Jane Margaret Brunn and son, Gregory Brunn. Surviving family members include Bruce and Joanne Brunn, Michael and Lindsay Brunn, Jonathan Brunn and Christina and Alan Edwards; and two great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Lorelai. A funeral will be held at Ascension Catholic Church Saturday, Dec. 5, at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mr. Brunn's name to the Salvation Army.
