Billy was an amazing man. He was not only a military hero but also a hero to the kids like me who grew up with Bruce and Greg. He had a great sense of humor, a kind heart, a sharp mind and a strong sense of friendship. He could party with the best of them. If you needed something, he was always there with an open heart and a strong back. 93 years is an incredible life span made even more amazing by his survival in some of the most horrible battles of WWII. Godspeed, Billy. You'll always be in my heart.
