Adrienne Smith Obituary

Adrienne M. Smith VIRGINIA BEACH - Adrienne Margaret Smith, 84, passed away Dec. 2, 2009. She raised five children and after moving to Virginia Beach, she used her lifetime experiences to become the director of two daycare facilities. Originally from New York City, Mrs. Smith loved to read, write, and was particularly fond of crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Donald A. Smith, who passed away earlier this year. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Don, Tedd and wife Maureen, Greg and wife Sandra, Rick and wife Inna, and Wendy; eight grandchildren, Rachel, Matt, Mark, Lydia, Nicole, Derek, Anjelica and Daniel; and six great-grandchildren, Katie, Sydney, Ava, Natalie, Harper, and Claire. A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, Dec. 5, at Church of the Ascension Catholic Church. You may pay condolences to the family at www.mem.com.
