Dora Sebring Obituary

Dora Lee Sebring NORFOLK - Dora Lee Sebring, 73, passed away Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009. Dora was born in Norfolk to the late Calias and Helen Murden. She is survived by her husband, William G. Sebring Sr.; four children, William G. Sebring Jr. and wife Kathleen of Moyock, N.C., William P. Sebring and wife Nancy of Chesapeake, Clifton W. Sebring and wife Johanna of Little Rock, Ark., and Georgia L. Settles and husband Mark of Edenton, N.C.; two brothers; three sisters; and 10 grandchildren, Benjamin Sebring, William G. Sebring III, Stephen Sebring, Lindsey Wagoner, Brittany Sebring, Amber Winslow, Joshua Sebring, Jeremy Sebring, Jonathan Sebring and Chloe Sebring. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, with the Rev. Mitchell Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.

So very sorry for your loss. Dora Lee and I were classmates at Norfolk Catholic High School. I recently re-connected with another classmate, Marie Antoinette Miller Shipp and we became aware of Dora Lee's passing.
