Bonney Russell Obituary

Bonney A. Russell Sr. NORFOLK - Bonney A. Russell Sr., passed away Dec. 3, 2009. He was predeceased by his parents, Mr. Bonner and Mrs. Feddie Russell and a daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Pollard. Mr. Russell retired from Local 1248 of ILA of Hampton Roads after 30 years of service. Those left to mourn his passing are his wife, Mrs. Celestine B. Russell; sons, Anthony, Bonney, Kenneth and Bryan; one daughter, Ms. Chanda Copelin; one sister, Mrs. Esther Marie Keeling; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Metropolitan Funeral Service, 120 W. Berkley Ave. Interment will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at Fontaine Ave. one hour prior to service for procession to the chapel. Condolences may be offered at www.metropolitanfuneralservice.com.
