Julian Mills Obituary

Julian R. Mills Jr. SHARPSBURG, Ga. - Julian Randolph Mills Jr. passed away early Tuesday morning, Dec. 8, 2009. Julian was a graduate of Norfolk State University, with masters in business from Emory, and a brilliant CPA. Named Businessman of the Year in 2009, he was well known and respected in his field. He was an aircrew life support specialist in the Air Force, and during his time in the service he was awarded an AF Training Ribbon and an AF Overseas Short Tour Ribbon. An accomplished musician, talented chef and devoted husband, father and friend; he was always the life of the party. Julian had a big smile and an even bigger heart; he was involved with many charities including the American Cancer Society and Alzheimer's and received awards from both for his efforts. Julian's memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Peachtree City, 208 Willowbend Road, Saturday, Dec. 12, at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Heart Association or the Ronald MacDonald House in memorandum. Julian is survived by his wife, Cappy; two children, Chuck and Teri; parents, Julian Sr. and Mary; and siblings, Marsha, Jon and Steve. He will live on forever in our hearts.
