Earl Burke Obituary

Earl R. Burke NORFOLK - Earl R. Burke, beloved husband, father, brother, son and soldier, journeyed home Dec. 12, 2009. He was born April 15, 1945 to the late Orion and Rosa Burke. He touched many, many lives. He will always be the brother, father and friend you were proud to know. He is survived by his first and only love, Gail Burke; his children, Earl Jr., Semona, Amy and Orion; his sister, Wessie L. Barnes; granddaughters, Laura, Tyler and Maya; a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Metropolitan Funeral Service, 7246 Granby St. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered at www.metropolitanfuneralservice.com.
