Stacy Aten Obituary

Stacy Rae Aten VIRGINIA BEACH - Stacy Rae Aten, 26, of the 3300 block of Lusk St., passed away Dec. 13, 2009 in Virginia Beach. A native of Virginia Beach, she was the daughter of Kenneth L. and Debra Harrison Aten. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Melissa A. Esposito and her husband Anthony of Virginia Beach; her maternal grandmother, Lizzie M. Harrison of Chesapeake; two nephews; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. A funeral will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milners Road, Suffolk. Family and friends will be received Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home, Greenbrier Chapel. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Spina Bifida Association (www.spinabifidaassociation.org) or to the March of Dimes (www.marchofdimes.com). To the Aten Family,

We are sorry to hear about your loss. Stacy was a joy to work with while she attended Princess Anne High School. She was always polite and had a good spirit. My you find comfort in knowing that she is at peace.

Ken & Debbie,
God bless you both and may he comfort you now. Stacy was such a special girl and an inspiration to all of us who have so much less to deal with but at times feel sorry for ourselves. She always had a smile on her face and in her heart.
