Ellen Wagner Obituary

Ellen Allen Wagner VIRGINIA BEACH - Ellen Allen Wagner, 91, passed away Dec. 14, 2009, in Norfolk. A native of Virginia Beach, she was the daughter of the late William and Pearl Allen and the widow of Bernard A. "Bernie" Wagner. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Norfolk. She is survived by her son, Robert E. Wagner and his wife Pat of Moyock, N.C.; a sister, Joyce Caughorn; a brother, Edward Allen; nine grandchildren; 14 great- grandchildren; and two daughters-in-law, Barbara Wagner and Sharon Wagner. She was predeceased by two sons, William A. Wagner and Carl R. Wagner. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 6510 N. Military Hwy., Norfolk, with the Rev. Dr. Lawrence Zimmerman officiating. A graveside service will be held at Rosewood Memorial Park at a later date. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Davis Corner Rescue Squad. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
