Ellen Allen Wagner VIRGINIA BEACH - Ellen Allen Wagner, 91, passed away Dec. 14, 2009, in Norfolk. A native of Virginia Beach, she was the daughter of the late William and Pearl Allen and the widow of Bernard A. "Bernie" Wagner. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Norfolk. She is survived by her son, Robert E. Wagner and his wife Pat of Moyock, N.C.; a sister, Joyce Caughorn; a brother, Edward Allen; nine grandchildren; 14 great- grandchildren; and two daughters-in-law, Barbara Wagner and Sharon Wagner. She was predeceased by two sons, William A. Wagner and Carl R. Wagner. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 6510 N. Military Hwy., Norfolk, with the Rev. Dr. Lawrence Zimmerman officiating. A graveside service will be held at Rosewood Memorial Park at a later date. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Davis Corner Rescue Squad.
