Doris Mosley

Doris G. Mosley VIRGINIA BEACH - Doris Elizabeth G. Mosley, 74, of Indian Lakes, died Dec. 14, 2009. She was born to the late Thomas and Mary Lee Ghee in Norfolk. She was a 1953 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. She was a member of First Trinity AME Church where she served as a Trustee Board member, Deaconess Board member, and sang in the choir. She retired as a purchasing agent from the Department of the Navy in 1989. She was predeceased by her husband, Romeo L. Mosley Sr. She is survived by her two daughters, Laverne Stallings (Albert) and Stephanie Mosley; one son, Romeo L. Mosley Jr.; one sister, Eunice Woods; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Trinity AME Church, 1301 Elco St., Chesapeake. Interment will be at Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake.
