Dale Harwick Obituary

Dale James Harwich VIRGINIA BEACH - Dale James Harwick went to be with his Lord and Savior and his Father, Harry on Dec. 16, 2009, in Sentara Leigh Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born June 29, 1961 in Ilion, N.Y. He was the son of Carol Anne Wood Harwick. He was an inspiration to all who knew him especially to the young people in his life. He inspired them to better themselves. He was a loving husband, father who will be loved and missed by all who knew him. He was an avid builder for his wife. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Dawn; his daughter, Erin and husband Joshua Schultz; his four sons, Damian and fiancee Jessica Stanley, Dale James II and his girlfriend Nicole deCristoforo, Hunter Levi, Dakotah Dalton, all of Virginia Beach. Also surviving are his two brothers, David and Derrick Harwick. He is also survived by his numerous special close friends and family and his loving pets, Bastian, Maddy and Money. The family requests that those in attendance please dress casual in order to celebrate his life. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, at the Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, 653 Cedar Road, Chesapeake, VA 23322. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donation be forwarded to the family. Friends are also invited to send condolences and sign the online guestbook at www.omanfh.com.

Dale. You will be truly missed. We know you are there with Dad now and neither of you are in pain anymore.We are taking care of Mom. We had alot of great times together growing up and wish we could have more. Sue is glad to call you brother as am I. We love you. Your big brother Dave & your sister-in-love Sue.
