Kim Bell Obituary

Kim H. Bell SUFFOLK - Kim H. Bell, 52, born July 21, 1957, peacefully transitioned in her home surrounded by family and loved ones April 4, 2010. She was born in Norfolk to Cynthia McKay Lindsey (mother) and Reginald Spratley (father). She leaves to cherish her memory a loving husband, Sim Bell Jr.; daughter, Marquita S. Hobson; son, Curtis A. Hobson (Aiykela); brothers, Reginald McKay and Carlos Lindsey; sisters, Lisa Lindsey McGriff, Pamela Hampton (Anthony); stepdaughters, Shakeema Wilson (Tony) Cheryl Tisdale (James); a stepson, Sim A. Stewart; three grandchildren; a host of relatives and friends. The viewing will be today from 2 to 8 p.m. at Riddick Funeral Service, 1225 Norview Ave., Norfolk, and the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. A celebration of life will be held Friday at New Community Temple Church of God in Christ, 3615 Tyre Neck Road, Portsmouth, VA 23703 at 11 a.m. The body will be placed in church at 10 a.m. Entombment will be in Carver Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be sent to Carver Cemetery in memory of Kim H. Bell. Condolences can be sent to www.riddickfuneral services.com.
